"Flyertap assisted us in executing an offline marketing campaign in ten cities across the US, including door-to-door and hand-to-hand channels, as well as direct mail outreach. The campaign succeeded in engaging a considerable number of customers, including both existing high-value customers and newly acquired ones. We gained valuable insights from testing different offers, analyzing the placement of flyers, and measuring customer engagement. We plan to implement these findings in future campaigns."

About Augusta

Augusta, ME Augusta is known as the capital of the U.S. State of Maine and is the city of Kennebec County.[33 The population was 18,899 as of the census in 2020. This makes it the tenth-highest-populous city in Maine and the third-lowest populous capital of the state of the United States after Montpelier, Vermont, in addition to Pierre, South Dakota. It is located at the mouth of the Kennebec River at the head of the tide. It's the principal city of the Augusta-Waterville micropolitan statistical region and is home to the University of Maine at Augusta. History of Augusta, ME The English initially explored the region of the very short-lived Popham Colony in September 1607. Twenty-one years after, English settlers from the Plymouth Colony settled in the region in 1628 as part of a trading station along the Kennebec River. The settlement was referred to by its Native American name Cushnoc or Coussinoc, or Koussinoc, the head of the river. Fur trading was initially profitable, but after Native revolts and declining revenue, Plymouth Colony sold the Kennebec Patent in 1661. Cushnoc was left uninhabited for the following 75 years. 5 The region in the vicinity of Cushnoc was home to the Kennebec group, which was part that was part of the more powerful Abenaki nation. In the 17th century, they were on good terms with English settlements within the area. 67 The hotspot of Abenaki's hatred of British settlements was further into the Kennebec near Norridgewock. The Abenaki tribe in 1722 Abenaki tribe, along with its allies, took on Fort Richmond, now Richmond, and destroyed Brunswick. As a result, English forces sacked Norridgewock in 1724 in the Dummers War, when the English could take control over the Kennebec. At the height of the French and Indian War, in 1754, English colonists constructed a blockhouse called Fort Western at Cushnoc on the eastern bank of the Kennebec River. It was planned to serve as a depot for supplies supporting Fort Halifax upriver, as well as a defense for the region from French attacks. In the later years of the American Revolutionary War, Benedict Arnold and his 1,100 soldiers used Fort Western as a staging location before heading through the Kennebec to the Battle of Quebec. This was the Maine State House constructed in 1829-1832 Cushnoc was added as one of Hallowell in 1771. The name was changed to the Fort. It was cut aside and later incorporated by Massachusetts General Court in February 1797. It was then named Harrington. However, in August, its name changed to Augusta following Pamela Augusta Dearborn, daughter of Henry Dearborn. Since the middle of the 18th century, it has been an active military presence within Augusta. Fort Western last had troops encamping there in the 1790s. However, in 1828, it was the time that U. S. Government constructed an arsenal to defend the interests of their citizens from Britain. In the Civil War, Augusta was the main point of contact for Union soldiers heading toward the front. Most of them stayed on the green in front of the capital building. It was in 1862 that Camp E. D. Keyes was established in 1862, founded in the northwestern part of the town. Camp Keyes was a mobilization and training center for soldiers in World War I. The camp was later turned into a base for the Maine National Guard. It was in 1929 that the Maine legislature voted to establish the Augusta State Airport next to the camp. The airport expanded, and the camp's use as a training center was no longer feasible. It is currently utilized for logistical and administrative reasons through the National Guard. At the turn of the century, Augusta had a steamboat that was regularly operating, as well as a railway. The city was able to install gas lights in 1859. Telephone services were available in 1880, and the hospital was opened in 1898. For much of Augusta's history, the central business district was on and near Water Street on the west bank of the Kennebec River. The street, laid out in the late 1700s, was the location of the area's commercial and industrial life. Many fires damaged this concentrated area, including one in 1865 that destroyed nearly 100 buildings. In 1890, the first trolley line began operation down Water Street, connecting Augusta with Gardiner and Hallowell to the south. In 1932, buses replaced the trolley line.
