    Flyertap (“Flyertap,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Flyertap Gig App (the “App”) and related services (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use the App.

    You may enable or disable location access at any time in your device settings.

    Location Data Disclosure

    Flyertap Gig App uses a foreground service only during user-initiated, time-bound tasks:

    1. Active gig tracking to record location and sync gig progress while the screen is off, and
    2. Uploading gig photos so uploads can complete reliably if the user switches apps or locks the screen. An ongoing notification is displayed whenever the foreground service is active, and the service stops when the gig ends or uploads complete.

    On Android, Flyertap may use a foreground service with an ongoing notification during an active gig to keep location tracking and gig progress updates running reliably, including when the screen is off.

    The Flyertap Gig App may access and collect location data if you grant permission. Location data is used to support core gig-related functionality and safety features.

    During an active gig, the App may request an exemption from battery optimization settings to help prevent the operating system from interrupting background location tracking while the user’s screen is off.

      • No location data is shared with advertisers for marketing purposes

    You can change or revoke location permissions at any time in your device settings.

    D. Camera and Media Access

    The App may request access to your camera or photo library when you choose to upload images or videos (e.g., proof of work or profile photos). Access is optional but required for certain features.

    4. Third-Party Services and SDKs

    The Flyertap Gig App uses trusted third-party services that may collect or process information on our behalf:

    • Firebase (Google LLC)
      Used for authentication, analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring. Firebase may collect device identifiers, usage data, and diagnostics.
    • Stripe
      Used to process payments and payouts securely. Payment details are handled directly by Stripe and are not stored on Flyertap servers.
    • Twilio
      Used for SMS, voice calls, and verification messages. Phone numbers and message metadata may be processed for delivery and security.
    • Google Maps Platform
      Used for maps, navigation, and location-based gig features. Location data is used only to support core functionality.
    • Expo
      Used to support app development, updates, notifications, and device compatibility. Expo may collect basic device and diagnostic data.

    All third-party providers process data in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable laws. We require vendors to use information only to provide services to Flyertap.

    Web App vs. Mobile App Notice:
    Stripe and Twilio are used only on Flyertap’s web-based platform (https://app.flyertap.com). The Flyertap Gig mobile app does not directly integrate Stripe or Twilio SDKs.

    5. Data Sharing

    We do not sell personal data.

    We may share information only:
